Close-Up Portraiture – Vancouver Family Lifestyle Photographer

So very excited to be part of a monthly project with some fellow photographers and members of ClickinMoms. Please make sure you click on the link at the end of this post and follow the circle of friends.

January’s challenge – Close-up Portraiture. All of these images were shot with my Nikkor 105mm Micro lens that I use for close-ups during a newborn session. Love this lens. Photographing a moving toddler with it was both a change of pace and a challenge! I focused in on a few things I want to remember about my little guy. His hazel coloured eyes (both my girls have blue eyes), his curly hair, his long lashes and the constant drool that comes with teething.

Next up is the LOVELY Valle!!! See her blog post here!

You did such a fabulous job, especially with a moving target. I've pretty much given up on my 13 month old!!
