Vancouver Urban Family Photography | Granville Island

It feels like just yesterday that this little guy was a wee little newborn. He has grown and changed so much in a few short months. Oh and he has also gotten a lot faster! Every time we placed him down he was off crawling and top speed. I love the series of images of him moving from sitting into the crawling position for this very reason!

Maxaroo was the landslide winner of the Haley Lorraine Photography 2013 Image of the Year contest. I caught up with his family at Granville Island for some fun and colourful family images to mark this stage. Can’t wait to do it again soon!

We started this session at home. Home is one of my favourite spots to meet so we can go over any last minute wardrobe questions as well as capture a few images in your personal space. Children tend to be more comfortable at home and it is a great way for everyone to warm up and get to know each other. I could make a whole separate blog post with images from in their home (and I may just do that :)) but for now I will share a few favourites.
