Vancouver Baby Photographer | First Year Photos at Home

This family contacted me earlier this Summer to photograph some family portraits while their parents were visiting from overseas. I couldn’t have been more thrilled! Their little girl was about to celebrate her first birthday and I truly believe that family portraits are a great way to celebrate such an occasion with the people you love the most.

We started their session inside their beautiful home with just Mom, Dad and their little girl. Snuggles on the bed, a few birthday dresses, colourful wall paper, cute hair bows, lots of smiles and a showcase of her newest skill…walking!

Here are just a few from the in home part of this session. There is more to share from this family portrait session as we headed out to one of my favourite parks for a few outdoor images. I will share those in a separate post later this week.

Though I don’t generally photograph large extended family sessions I do love when Grandparents are able to be present during a Family Session. It is so great to capture all three generations and to see the circle of love that surrounds this little girl.
