Brooke + Sam | Vancouver Wedding Photography

It is said that rain on your wedding day is good luck. Well this was one lucky couple! There were so lucky that the rain stopped only for one short hour that day during their wedding portraits (yeah happy photographer!!). After weeks of beautiful sunny weather and blue skies, Brooke and Sam wound up with the first really rainy weekend. Despite the weather they had a beautiful and intimate wedding at the Rockwater Secret Cove Resort!!!

Now here is where I should point out that I don’t really shoot weddings. You have probably noticed lots of beautiful bellies, sweet newborns and fun families in this space. Truth be told this was the first wedding I have had the pleasure of shooting. I have HUGE respect for wedding photographers that do this EVERY WEEKEND ALL SUMMER LONG. Weddings are A LOT of work! I am very thankful to both Brooke and Sam for trusting me to document their day. I did really LOVE the experience and LOVE how the results tell the story of their day. Would I do it again?
